After a great deal of prodding and nudging from others, and a little research on my part, I have decided to dip my toes in the water of selling prints of my photos.
I have joined up with Fine Art America, which as near as my Googling can divine is a reputable service that handles all the packaging and processing, meaning I get to just focus on uploading pretty pictures. As a tryout, I’ve taken a half-dozen favorite images and made them available for sale on this site. You can buy them as framed prints, gallery-wrapped canvases, even greeting cards, with a wide variety of framing and matting options that you can customize to your heart’s content. If you’ve got the coin and can imagine hanging a pretty flower on your wall, or know someone like this, give it a go!
And if I generate any action from this, I’ll upload more images, try to integrate the photo site with this one, and see if this hobby of mine can’t start partially subsidizing itself.
