I am Chicago-bound today. Provided the planes, trains, and automobiles cooperate, tonight I will be seeing Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? at Steppenwolf. After much debate and some tinkering, I have elected not to pack the new iPad for the trip. Since I was already bringing the laptop, the Kindle, the iPod, and the smartphone, there really didn’t seem to be any compelling reason to bring it except to show off.
Which is not totally invalid, but my carry-on was already pretty stuffed.
