Took a stroll last week at the Baldwin Park Scenic Overlook in Culver City. Came away with some nice pictures, including two I liked well enough to add to the Photography Store.

It took only about 10-15 minutes to reach the hilltop by these, but it was indescribably punishing. Like – firemen use these stairs as a workout routine.

I’m horrible at flower names, which makes labeling these photos difficult. For reasons hard to explain, I named this “Noodly Clump”.

I tried to be very mathematical and harmonious in the cropping with this one, putting the spiral end point right at a rule-of-thirds junction. I like it.

As soon as I saw this bike rack I wanted a shot of it. Feel pretty good about this one, although maybe I could paint out those wires for a more austere look.

I love this view of downtown, such a tiny fortress vaunting against the awesomeness of Nature.

Give me a park with stairs…long, beautiful stairs
